A couple months ago I had the pleasure of shooting some spontaneous maternity photos for my coworker Christina! She looked gorgeous, as usual.
Her little boy Leo was born on October 13th and he is an absolute doll with a full head of dark hair and chubby cheeks. So happy to take some photos of this little family and celebrate God's gift to the DeKam family!
It's been so long time since I've been back on my site. Work is just crazy lately, so I feel like I barely have a second to myself!
But while I'm free tonight... here are a few photos I snapped of my sister's kiddos for her Christmas card! These 4 sweet babies are legitimately angels and I just want to squeeze them and kiss their cheeks off 24/7. I'm so thankful for them.
Happy Thanksgiving & Merry Christmas from the Scott tots!
Earlier this year my family and I took our annual trip up the mountain to Boone. We have been going there longer than I can remember, and every time it's just as magical. The leaves this year were out of this world! I'm not sure why, but they were extra bright and beautiful and we all were blown away by them. Here are some sweet pictures I took to capture memories and pretty moments from our trip!
On Sunday afternoon my friends and I drove 45 minutes down the road to a little place called Windy Hill Orchard! It was the perfect fall day - the temperature was ideal, the apples were crisp and the cider was sweet and delicious! We talked, laughed, ran around in a random field and took pictures and really just enjoyed each others company. I'm so thankful for these girls and for the impact they've had on my life. When I originally moved back to Charlotte 3 years ago, I had no intention of staying. I didn't want to "put roots down" here and try and make friends - Nope. I wanted to move somewhere fun and different and get to know new people. But man, does God know what you need when you need it! He purposefully brought these ladies into my life (every Wednesday with food and faith and late nights) and I'm so thankful to call them my friends! They were exactly what my heart needed. I know that sounds cheesy, but it's the truth. I love them! Here are a few pictures from our apple orchard adventure!
As I work to build my portfolio, I am always searching for new people and scenarios to shoot! Sometimes it's fun to get out of my comfort zone and try something totally different! I found a woman on Facebook who was looking for a photographer for a Matilda Jane styled shoot, so I immediately commented and offered to help! I was so excited with how it turned out. This collection is called "Once Upon a Time" and I think that's exactly the way it photographed!
